What’s something that you are passionate about?
Baking cakes and stuff. What you create afterwards, like, it can be either good or bad.
What is a significant achievement of yours?
I baked a cake, it was a really big one, like three layers.
What do you hope to achieve in 2016?
To move up to red belt in Tai Kwon Do
Who is your role model?
I’m not sure, I have a lot of role models, so the first one is the Prophet Mohammed alayhi as-salām because we have to always take after him. Then Carlos, this guy whose a baker, he’s a really good baker.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
My backgrounds, where I’m from. Yeah my mother is from Papa New Guinea and my Dad’s from Somalia.
What is the riskiest or scariest thing you’ve done?
Go outside at night! I’m scared of the dark. So yeah.
What’s something that has changed your life?
When my Grandma died. That changed my life kind of. I was really sad.
What role do your beliefs play in your life?
So we have to pray five times a day, and read a Quran, and be kind to one another. And listen to our elders.
What’s your best advice for others?
To follow your dream and do whatever you want in life, and don’t let anyone take that away from you.
