When are you at your happiest?
I’m at my happiest when I’m with like-minded friends who have similar interests to what I do.
What’s something that you are passionate about?
Human rights.
What is a significant achievement of yours?
My daughter. As she grows up there’s all these new moments that make me proud of her.
Who is your role model?
I don’t really have a role model, over the years I have, but at the moment I don’t really have one.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
That I’m a Muslim.
What is the greatest risk you’ve taken?
Coming out in public that I’m a Muslim.
What’s something that has changed your life?
Becoming a Muslim. It’s given me more clarity in life. I’ve always been a spiritual person, but this is on the next level.
What’s your best advice to give to other people?
My best advice to others is to be true to themselves.
